Hilton Head Insurance and Brokerage has roots dating back to the 1940’s when owner Jeff Hedden’s grandfather Graham Hedden, started Hedden Insurance Agency in Waterford, CT. Years and generations later, after the changing tide of the insurance industry, Jeff and Nicole Hedden started Hilton Head Insurance and Brokerage in their spare bedroom right here in the Lowcountry.

Through a local business networking group, Jeff met Gary Davis, a Lowcountry native and real estate industry veteran. At the time Gary was handling large commercial lines of insurance for a local agency. Within six months of meeting, Gary and Jeff joined together and within a few months the pair had maxed out office space with additional employees and staff….many of which are family!

The Hedden and Davis families feel so very blessed by their story and what God has done around them. They are so thankful to their customers who have allowed them to be part of their own stories.
