One the of unique situations about living close to the ocean is that many of the more recognized carrier names in insurance do not write coastal home insurance policies. That may mean that if you are moving to the area from another state, your current home insurance carrier may not write a policy this close to the coast.
The good news is that we have multiple carriers that will write home policies in our area, their names just may not be as recognizable to you. When we choose the carriers we want to represent we make sure that they are A-rated with a quality reputation across the industry. We would write our own personal insurance policies with any of the carriers we represent.
When you are ready to request a quote there are some pieces of information that our agents will ask you for in order to complete the quote. That information will include the age of the home, the age of the roof, and any updates made to the home. Proximity to the coast makes a difference in a home insurance quote specifically for the insurance deductibles offered with the policy.
